Chinelo Okparanta, a short story writer and novelist, was named among Granta Magazines’ list of ‘Best Young American Writers Under 40’. Following the footsteps of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie when in 2010 made the list of New Yorker’s ’20 under 40′,
Chinelo released her debut novel ‘Under the Udala Trees’ in 2015. She had previously published a short story collection titled, ‘Happiness, like Water’ in 2013 which was an Editors’ Choice for the New York Times Review and was a longlist for Etisalat Prize for Literature.
